Painting halogen bulbs?

I got some yellow tinted H11 bulbs from ebay and didn't like the yellow color tip, so I painted it with a single coat of silver hi temp paint. Is this gonna be okay, and how hot does a bulb get?

It should be fine as long as u didnt touch the bulb or get any other residue on the bulb.
