2003 Civic fog light switch pin out needed.
2003 Civic fog light switch pin out needed.
I have used search and couldn't find this info. I need the pin out of this switch. It is supposedly for a 4 door 2003 ex. Though it might possibly by for 2004 or 2005.
Sorry the pictures a bit blurry. I can't do much better with this camera.
Basicly I need this pin out so I can figure out if I can rewire it. Currently the icon lights up with the switch and the bar above it is constantly lit. This seems backwards to me. I want to wire it so it does the opposit.e if possible. Otherwise I have to find a way to remove the label and turn it upside down
Can anyone out there help me with the pin out or ideas how to fix this problem?

Lol, my 02 works like it's supposed to. The icon comes on with dash lights, bar when fogs are on (but that's been disabled cause green = no in my ride).
UPDATE: Well, while I was waiting for a pin out to magicaly fall into my lap I took this plastic piece off the back of the switch. It looks like the switch is basicly a single layer onesided board and the traces where convieniantly exposed. I lifted up the board to get an idea where the leds where and just cut some traces and rewired the leds. The switch is functioning properly now.
This install was such a pain. So far I'm up around 10 hours with all the gluing, extending wire lengths, enlarging a hole so I can put the switch in. And I still have to wait for the glue to dry holding the switch in place. Then I have to allign the lights. Then I get to put back on the fender well mud gaurds. I probably have about 2 more hours to go on this.
UPDATE:
I wanted to do a more professional job so I bought a 2002 switch P/N 08V31-S5D-120C for sedans (I believe this switch is also used in some models from 2002 to 2005) which fits in the spot near the cigarette lighter. However, it has a different plug than the one that came with my kit. I metered it out and I believe I have the pin out correct. I am posting this image in case somone else needs this info. I believe it to be correct but take no responsibility if it doesn't work for you and damages something. BTW, this switch is the one with the blue receptical.
The numbers on the right represent what you would see if looking at the plug.
