Changing the Odometer Light

How exactly would I go about changing out the light so that it is blue or even red to match my indiglo's?

I heard there is a "gel" behind it... The problem is, If you mess up, everything gets messed up?

I remember someone doing this to their car but, cant remember... Maybe GearBox did it?

Whole cluster comes aprt, lcd pulled up carefully, but there is a screen to diffuse the light. Without it, you will see the bulb shape through the lcd. I gave up and just left it off. I never look at it at night anyway.
