HID installed (pics)
I got my HID installed lastweek. It was really easy and it took me about 20mins.I used heavy duty double sided tape to mount the ballast.I didn't had any time to take pics but I took some today and decided to post them.Brand is Xtec 6000k, same brand from the GB but I got them from http://www.ohiomotorcycle.com/unders...lighting.shtml for about same price and the shipping was free and only took 2 days.Overall I'm pretty happy with them, the glare is very minimal and no one flash on me yet

I delt with the owner of that site, and wont deal with him again, very poor service.
Anyways, Looks good. I dont suggest using the double sided tape though, The ballast will fall off one day, and seeing where it is, you dont want a ballast flying around in your engine bay.

^^WERD....i mounted mine behind my wheel guards...you know the guards that stop dirt and mud and **** from flying into the engine bay. I mounted them on that and they fit perfect. Clean install and can't tell where the ballasts are

I just bought a set of 5000k off lighting master Impulse and am waiting on em. I live in Toronto so I think ill have a chance to test to cold durability here in TO.
btw anyone looking to get HID's its not that expesnive
I replace my halogen Sylvania's twice a year, at $34 (taxes in) a light twice a year it comes to almost 130 a year,
Impulse's HID come with 5 year warrenty on the bulbs and 1 year on the ballast. My kit was $320 usd shipped to canada and as long as the 5 year warrenty holds through it will acually be cheaper. Plus HID's are sexy, who cares how long they last, ill never be going back to halogen thats forsure
also Id like to mention Impulse is an awesome person to work with, quick replys and always on the ball.
