Rebasing Help

i jus got sum stock hids from a beamer/audi off ebay... i wunna put these on my gf's camry which uses 9006. he sez he converted them to 9006 already so everything is plug n play but all it needs is rebasing.. So my Q is.. what exactly is rebasing and how can i do it? i hope its not too hard or require alot of money.

hey thanks alot ghost,
so rebasing is basically jus putting crap around the bulb to make it fit and stick to the stock housing right? makes alot more sense now.

lol, it would have been better to just get an HID kit...

You need to get a 9006 halogen bulb, place it in a bag, break them. Than cut the actual metal/base so that the d2r bulb fits in, then glue it down.

You do have D2R, Right?
