I have some inner tails with the pink reverse light. Does anyone have ideas for maybe cutting out the pink part and putting a clear plastic inside?

yeah im really interested in getting some too. have u seen the prices on hondawerx tho..?!!? jesus, $450 for some tails. a bit overkill if u ask me. i kno their JDM, but damn thats $$. its not possible to just take the 04 lights off, open em up. and clear that red section on the bottom?

Tails aren't like the headlights. The glue is hard and brittle, so there's no way to open em without breaking. I'm gonna try and dremel my pink piece out and go shopping for a clear plastic piece. Anyone can help me on where to go?
Another problem is that the reverse light has no reflector. So if I replace with a clear plastic, it's gonna look grey color inside. Maybe I can make one out of foil?

I've already started diy. Just cut out the pink square with a dremel, and now I'm smoothening out the edges.
The inside looks okay, but it's silver. I'm gonna try and repaint with chrome to make it shinier, or I may color match it to the car. Then I found a scrap of clear plexiglass that's gonna be fit into the hole somehow and sealed with silicone. I'm still doing one side, and it's taking a long time. Maybe pics later...

Well it looks okay I guess. Six hours later and only one piece is done. Edges are pretty rough where I cut, and there's silicon around it now (that's why there's a purple reflection). The inside is supposed to be chrome painted, but it looks more like silver. Anyway, here's a pic. Don't know if I should do the other one or just forget it. Oh and I ended up using clear, thick plexiglass to fit the opening.
