I just got those after my crap apc ones faded to yellow. Those J-spec are the best ones. It isn't too hard if you just follow the diy and take lots of time. Just get the sheet metal nibbler from radioshack, and a small leveler so they're even. Mine turned out great, although it's not perfect. Just take your time and don't remove too much material at a time.

Oh yeah. Only thing is they don't come with a harness, but the sidemarkers have a plug on them. So I just cut off the plug surround so I could wrap wire around each terminal and run it to the parking lights for splicing. So yeah, minor wiring involved. And if you want them to stay on with parking lights and blink alternately with the signal, wire one lead to thew green signal wire and the other to the red parking light wire. The wires you tap go into the turn signal up front. I just tapped the green wire and a ground, so they only flash on with the signals.

You just need to be careful. The result is well worth it and I get tons of looks, especially from jetta owners. Clear sidemarkers own. I'm running raybrig 2x hyper clear bulbs and they are bright!

Bulbs are from racinglab.com and made in Japan. They are clear (no coating), but light up 2x brighter than stock. Looks sweet.
I found a site in the post a sedan pic thread that had all sorts of sidemarkers. Don't know if I can find it, but it's in on eof those sedan pic threads.

That is what Iam afraid of
Kinda looks like an arrow.
Think the question is how will the wiring work =\
