Thanks man. I like them alot and the car seems special now. It's become one of the better cars on the road
So much easier to see stuff at night.
Finally someone likes my sedan. Everyone always says bla bla it's too plain. But you should see the looks on other civic owners when they see sidemarkers and HID flashing in their face...yeah jealousy

Well at least I got a name out there! Catz I have seen, but not heard much about. Do I need to really retro fit a projector into my stock headlight for the HID kit to work properly? Thanks for the help

The Catz I have is a direct replacement for the stock housing. It's made to work for it and is actually OEM equipment on cars in Japan. I have the low/high kit, and those highs are bright! Great for those tailgaters that cut you off. Oh and thanks for the comments on my car.

WARNING: YOU WILL NOW, NEVER WANT TO DRIVE A CAR WITHOUT XENONS
and i mean that... Haha, I now hate cars with halogen bulbs =]
Im glad everything is working out for you, Out of all the aftermarket kits out there, Catz def is of the best quality. However, There is some glare

Im looking at one of the pictures and didnt notice a casper shield (basically something that goes around the bulb to limit glare). But, I cannot honestly tell by the pictures because cameras do some crazy stuff. But, if there is a lot of glare, a shield is always an option to keep in mind.

btw, Im glad they dont look like this warmed up

If you got a kit that was over 6k, i would have bashed you
Oh... And most important... This may sound odd... But, yea. I thought that having the bulb change colors kicked ***. I thought it was great to drive around at like 8pm, go behind a white car and turn my headlights on and have people look at me like, WTF? Well, Dont keep turning them ON - Off - On - Off cause the bulb will either pop, or ballast will pop. Leave like a 40 second cool down everytime you want to turn them back on.
One time i accidently turned my current HIDs off... And When i flipped the switch a bright RED light appeared on the road... I was like OMG, MY RETROFIT. But, like it went to white and everything has been fine.

Hahaha. Yeah I read about all that stuff. I always leave em on for a few mins at least after they're on and don't turn them off/on right away. These are so awesome, and I can't imagine going back to halogen. Oh and these do have a shield around part of the bulb. From a distance, there isn't too much glare. Almost looks like regular lights, so I guess they're aimed okay. My favorite is pulling up to someone with ricer lights and overpowering their wimpy hyper whites. HID is awesome!

And really, the high beam isn't all that great. It shoots far away, but they're not nearly as bright. Most of the time I'm using low, except when someone cuts me off. Just go with a good brand like catz. Hey does that site up there have replacement bulbs just in case?

Hey gearbox, do you have any problems with the heatin of it. What I mean is when I had mine, it started to burn the top of the headlight, like it was giving off too much heat. I miss my HID's. Damn ***** in the philippines who stole them from me.

I don't know about the heat. The lights look okay, so I'm asuming they're fine. Scary thing happened--somehow one the the bulbs got loose and was just hanging in there. Good thing it didn't break. But I really want some backup bulbs just in case something happens. My only other complaint is that the bulbs are not perfectly held in by the ballasts. So when I go over big bumps in the road, they jiggle a bit. But most of the time there's no problem. I'm at home now driving my mom's 92 accord and can barely see anything! At least the car is faster than the vic.
"...You cant buy Catz legally in the USA anymore.
Or just about any HID kit..."

Yeah Dru, I couldn't see anything with regular halogens. It's a joke really and I'm glad I got them when I did. Hehe, and looks like civicvtec1ps couldn't take us bragging anymore and finally got some.
