Does drilling help

I have a set of aftermarket headlights and I have resealed the hell out of these things. I mean theres sealent all over theses things, but one of them still fogs. I have had a few people tell me to drill a couple of small holes in the bottom of the housing to stop the fog. My question is, does this work and how does it work. Also what size drill bit should I be using. if anyone has done this and can help, I thank you.

I've heard it works, but fogging really depends on the climate. When it gets humid here, everyone's lights get foggy. It happens because the parking light sockets aren't really sealed (you just twist them on), so moisture can still get in even if the headlight is sealed.

honestly, either way u will get fog in the headlights... just a matter of time.

I have A LOT of silicone all over the border of my TYCs... Like A LOT... And i havent gotten any fog yet

What kind of headlights do u have? If they are the projector kind, they should have those lil hoses to let moisture out... If they dont, then i suggest opening the seal in the back a lil (where the bulb is) and try that first before drilling :x

I wouldn't drill a hole in them. The main reason being, if you want to get fog free, you want to create a moisture barrier. Drilling a hole lets moisture in, defeating your whole purpose.
