Difference between 4/5/6000k bulbs?

I've been told something about the color spectrum but I'm having trouble understanding what the difference is.

Can someone please give me a rundown on the difference between say 4, 5 and 6000k bulbs?

Dumb it down as much as possible, I'm running on fumes here

The difference between 4, 5, and 6000k=the price, that's as "dumbed down" as it gets

But I've seen like different colors of 6000K bulbs, like green white blue red yellow and so on, that's what got me confused. The concept that 6000K is pure blue and 4000K is pure white makes sense to me, but having seen different colors of 6000k bulbs confused the hell out of me...

anything else you can offer to help clear things up?

dude check ebay

I saw red yellow blue purple green and whatever else bulbs that were all called 6000k

If it's as simple as 6000k = pure blue and 4000k = pure white, there would have been no confusion from the start, but apparently there are different colors of 6000k, I would not lie
