Crappy HIDs

My local shop sells a 6000K HID kit from "HIDMax" or some bullshit line. I've never heard of the company and was curious as to if I'm getting ripped off. They want to charge $600 including labor, but plus tax. They are a respectable shop and have done many HID upgrades to kids with BMWs, Audis and VWs that had normal lights. Any suggestions on what I should do?

$500 a good deal? No, not really. BTW, 7300K is not Hella. The ballasts may be pulled (picked from junkyards or similar) Hellas, but the bulbs definitely are not.

I got mine for $400, been running six months without a problem, and they're great. Not as nice as a retrofit, though.
