What is the Difference?

Between the Black and Chrome TYC?

I searched and it seams like the Chrome TYC are better when it comes to illuminating. Why is this? Is it that its just designed/build better? If design/build is the same then does the chrome is what helps? Finally; Can you replace the bulbs/lights on the black TYC to illuminate better?

With projectors it doesnt really matter (low beam), the parking and turn signal will be a lil brighter. This is because the actual projector is where the light comes from, not like a regular reflector housing.

What do you mean replace the lights? You can always use different kidns of halogen bulbs, just stay with the proper wattage. Also, You can do What I did... But, Its a big step, Retrofit.

Thanks for responding. You mention that low beam don't matter. How about the high beams? I want the light to produce a white or yellowish color not a blue color; due to strick California laws. Do the TYC do that?

By threads that I read there was a big difference between the chrome and black TYC but if I understand you correctly it seam that there is none.

Once again thanks for responding.

BTW "What do you mean replace the lights?" Some people where I live in will call the bulb "lights". So I mean replace the bulb.

you can always replace a bulb...

What would produce a blue color would be the choice of bulb.

High beams on black headlights have there own reflective space? I guess it could be a lil brighter with the chrome...
