Well, a while back (2 months) I got some APC sidemarkers that I was able to make really nice looking, but now the plastic is already starting to turn yellow. I need some opinions on good, clear sidemarkers that I can install. I'll have to cut a bigger hole probably, but it's cool. Just want something low profile that will last. They must be clear. Thanks!

Jetta...side makers from the dealer....they wont turn yellow

The jetta markers are recessed into the body, so that won't work. I need a top mount.

I found some at robear racing. They're the J-spec sidemarkers.

I know, and I spent alot of time making them look good. Then the plastic gets yellow a few months later. Not to mention the entire sidemarker has to come apart to change the bulb. Stupid.

I got the same sidemarkers from the DIY. They are from Mercedes and and I have had them on my car for more than a year. They are still the same color as when I bought them...clear.

Get OEM new si sidemarkers.
It's clear, Uses 168/194 bulbs.

In case you were wondering about hole size, this is how big I cut mine. I think they were 1" x 2".

Maybe. Post pics? Man I hope those new ones fit. The ones in there now have a circle mount in the middle. And with all the rain here, it's gonna be a while I guess.
