Hey all, I just traded in my 03 ex for an 03 si and wanna start hookin it up. Im startin with the basics and came to the headlight dilema. I dont wanna mod my headlamps cause it only causes probs so HID is out of sight. ... So in your opinions what brand and kelvin degree of color is best for the looks but also functions on the road(especially in rain). I heard the bluer colors dont light up the road as well. THANKS FOR THE HELP

TRY THESE!!!

mtecs have had great compliments about them.. I have the h1 mtecs in my tyc projectors and they light up the road great at night and in the rain, plus they are pretty cheap...

yes, mtec's are the best IMO.. but make sure u get the 2x and NOT the 4x...

2x is stock wattage which is safe, whereas 4x is higher wattage and u run the risk of burning your housing or melting your wiring harness....


also, if your gonna get from ebay, i recommend the seller "auto-perfect" because he provides lifetime warranty...

yeah the mtecs are nice. They give off a pure white light, but they suck compared to oem in rain. I kepted my high beams stock in case i needed to see a little further down the road then the white light allows. In regular weather the mtecs light up the whole road, very nice and a cheap beneficial addon.

if you get projectors with mtecs the comparison between those and oems is not comparable. the tycs projectors have such a bigger beam pattern
