Interior Neon Under Glow???????

I have heard several brands of lights that would provide the same interior effects as paul walkers skyline on 2 fast 2 furious(interior lighting not underbody). Basically my plan is to illuminate the drivers side under the dash area as well as the passenger side under the dash area and needed to know which light series, size, etc... works best for this set up. I want both lights to work as one unit when i turn my driving lights on so i was wondering what to do basically thanks guys for your help.

Get some streetglow neons, although with the smaller tubes they're all pretty bright. You would just have to do some custom wiring to the parking light source so they come on with the regular lights. Putting them under the seats will illuminate the footwells. Under the dash will give a brighter glow, but only in the front.

I am not going to mention the fast and furious comment.......but anyways, I have the same thing you are talking about under my dash. I have 2 6 inch thin tubes and mounted them in the little creases below the glove box, and above the fuse panel. Make sure the tubes are completely hidden or else it will look ghetto. If I were you I would wire them to an independent switch instead of your headlights, because if you get pulled over for some reason, the cops won't be too happy about the glow (distraction) from under your dash. Any questions feel free to ask.

If you know a little about electronics. I was lazy and just got a switched cig lighter plug, then bought a three-way splitter to go off that. Then neons that plug into the splitter. That's the easiest way. Got it all from radioshack.

are two 6 inch street glow lights really bright??? i dont want to buy lights that dont really illuminate the feet area. By the way that DIY job is off the hook congrats Also do you happen to know where I can purchase a set of blue dome lights for my headlights because the blue ones i bought have turned aqua/greenish this buds for you

jackscivic will become famous soon enough
ok as far as wiring them to your headlights look in your fuse panel and there should be a spot that activates only when your headlights turn on. you attach your hot wire( positve) tot he fuse spot ( put a fuse in too so you dont mess things up. an inline will work) and then you connect your netrual ( negitive) to anything metal under there. there are many grounding points down there. tuch your wire under the carpeting or into the center console on the floor. incase you didnt know right where the heat duct is on the floor there is a huge hole to get to the other side of the console ( pasenger side)

as far as tube size 6 inchers are pretty bright but i do ahve a 15" under each of my seats. they fit perfectly. i always wonder why ppl have trouble getting anything over 12" in there. and mine are not mounted to the thing that moves the seat back and foward.
