Headlight opinions...anyone? =)
I'm looking to get new headlights for my car, I'm in between the projector headlights and the angel eyes/halo headlights...Heard some things about both, good and bad but I wanna hear some other opinions or if anyone has em (either one) how it is for them? Thanks

Hmm, I have black-housed halo's. Most people that say the lights make my car. They tie the hood into the front end and it just all goes together really well.
The only thing I don't like about the halo's and it's not really the halo's.. but they seem to run bulbs alot hotter, because they dont have any way for the heat to escape, but it's not hard just cut a little X where the wires go in and that'll allow for them to run a little cooler.
Overall I like them, they look awesome and they add alot to your car.

Whats wrong w/your current headlights? LoL
I heard TYC's aren't bad. Do a search or look through this forum right quick i'm sure you're likely to find plenty of info. Watchout for brands that leak.

Nothing's actually wrong with em, I guess i'm just looking for a change...however for some odd reason my passenger side light ALWAYS blows out within 3 weeks or so.
I was thinking of just clearing the headlights but, I had strobes installed 2 years ago..(yeah yeah) and they never worked to begin with so i have like a hole in each headlight...with the strobe piece still in it =\
Yeah...I think it was TYC's that had a lifetime guarentee on them? I saw em on Cardomain.com...

the warranty on the TYC's are only valid if you buy from a TYC approved vendor...so if you buy them from some dude who get them from some other dude, then don't buy it cause you wont have a warranty.

I think cleared headlights look better on a silver car, and black projectors on darker cars like blue and black. You could always install new strobes and use the stock headlights cleared.
I say DIY is what you need to do. I had the chrome projectors with halo and hated them. Find the DIY on here and love them. I got a black civic with the headlights painted graphite. check it out: http://www.7thgencivic.com/modules.p...howpage&pid=42
Once you've donve this just paint the chrome (not the chrome where the headlight bulbs is!!!) whateva color you want. Save much $$$ and feel prouder of youreself.

^^ the other answer would be, flat black high temp engine paint or whatever color hi temp paint..I used plasti-kote...Krylon is excellent too...then I glossed mine up with classic lacquer clear.
I have the chrome halo projector headlights, which everyone says looks hott. They definetly do give less light out put compared to stock, you just have to adjust them to get decent lighting. TYC's give off a little bit more light, not much, but they dont look as nice as the halo's, so its up to you. If you want looks, go with the halo's, if your going for light output, just clear/paint your OEM's. If you just want a change from the OEM, get the TYC, which is are a little brigther than the halo's.

Thanks for everyones opinions/input. I think i'll probably just clear it because I don't like the TYC's very much, i do like the halo's design but i heard the lighting on it sucks...but thanks everyone
OEMs!!!!!!!!! thats the way I would go... but hey if you want something diff... I would go with the angel eyes... they look real good... BUT I SAY THIS ON ALMOST EVERY THREAD, ITS YOUR RIDE, WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS THINK, right?

Here what I thinking of getting for amber bulbs. The 7440 are a single filament bulb so they are only light up when the turn signal flashing. Thats what I have now except for a bule color bulb. The 7443 are a double filament so they are lit when the parking lights are on as well as the turn.
