Clearing headlights
I'm planning on clearing the headlights on my 03 civic sedan this weekend and looking for some good plans. I got no clue about working on cars but trying to learn so i checked out the DIY section here and printed the plans posted. I spoke to a guy that told me they were not that good and I could damage my car. Can anyone help me out with some step-by-step plans on how to clear my headlights? Also, I am replacing my headlight wire harness and installing some hyperwhites, i think this should be pretty EZ but anyone got some pointers? Thanks alot.
i just did mine last week. here ya go i'll try my best. first remove the bumper shell.there are a bunch of those plastic screws and a few regular screws and that comes off. then there are 3 or 4 screws that emove the headlights. then just split em open and there are 2 screws inside that you have to remove then slide the crome part out and remove the amber part. then put it all back together and use silacone to seal em back up. hope that helps.
