Im getting ready to take my car in to get an alignment, its been a few weeks since i dropped my car. I searched around, but am still confused about what actually to expect.
What does the shop actually do during an alignment? Will they be able to adjust my toe and camber correctly? or just straighten out my steering wheel. Do you think i would be able to give them my preffered camber degrees to adjust my camber kit to like -1.5 front and -.75 rear for better performance or would that not be included in a standard alignment

If you won't be racing the car, I would just have them do the alignment to spec. If you start running camber on your wheels, you'll wear the insides of your tires out in no time.
what tires are you running? i think neo gens are designed for negative camber. i barely got mine, so i cant quite give u any feed back yet. i know the falken Zex suck for negative camber. youll go throught them fast.

if you drop a car and have bigger rims than stock they wont be able to get the alignment perfect. after a couple of months of riding your springs will settle and your drop will drop more. i had drop springs and it dropped the back lower than the front. i took them off and got coilovers and a camber kit for the front and back, put it on with the coilovers and its not wearing my tires down and it is aligned right and rides smooth.if you dropped you car with the stock struts later on down the line they will bust.
man if i were u i would go to firestone and buy the lifetime alignment here in houston tx it runs 140 but its good for as long as u own the car. i work there so i do my own alignments i got a 02 with the Eibach Pro-Kit Springs on kyb agx shocks with spc camber kit. im rolling on 215/40/17 and my front right tire is neg one degree i cant get it to zero out
im running 215/45/17 never done an alignment but i do work at a shop,
during an alignment they will put your car on a hoist and hook up the alignment tool/computer and it shows the specs and it has toe campber steering wheel ect.
dont know if they will get it perfect but they can get it close

im not on stock shocks im on tokico blues so i dont think i need to worry about too much sagging. but anyway, i guess ill just take it in and see what they can do.
the shocks have nothing to do with the sagging of the springs, and running -1.5 degrees camber is great for an agressive street driver.if the shop that you take your car to to do your alignment is cool they should be able to let you tell them that you want a little more negative camber, i dont see why that yould be a problem, it is your car and you are the one paying for the work to be done. i have lowering springs and a front and rear camber kit and i work for honda so i do my own alignments to, i do them to my specs and im on bridgestone potenza re01R tires, super soft super sticky tires, i have no wear issues, just rotate them on a regular schedule and you will be fine. my car takes turns just as hard if not harder then my boys evo. and he will admit it.
yeah they do. my stock shocks sagged in the rear like crazy, almost slammed, while the fronts were raised up. installing tokicos evened out the front and rear to a perfect 1 inch drop which is what the springs were rated for. before with stock shocks, it was more like 2 inch drop in the rear and 0.5 inch raised in the front.
