b18b turbo

I have a brand new fully built b18b1 engine that's boosted. I'm having a problem with my oil pressure. When I drive it the highest the oil pressure goes is 25 to 30 psi and thats goin 80mph, n when it's on park, it's around 13 to 15 psi. Is it to low or is this what the oil pressure should be at? My car is throwing out blue smoke which I don't get why because the car has new seals n stuff, could it be because of the turbo because turbo does have a lot of shaft play n it's old. Or can it be running to lean or rich please help n thank you

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: b18b turbo

Oil pressure: 10 PSI for every 1000 RPM is a basic racers rule of thumb.

Smokes blue: Blue is oil burning.
If there wasn't a turbo on it, it would be easier to figure out what's wrong based on the conditions when it smokes.

Yeah a loose/worn turbo can dump a lot of oil and make a lot of smoke. Is the intercooler full of oil? That'd be a clue.
