98 civic brake lights won't go out.
My brake lights, including the 3rd brake light, stays on until I pull the 15A fuse under the hood. I'm pretty sure its the switch attached to the brake pedal. Anybody got a schematic of this circuit and a diagram of the area under the steering wheel that shows the switch?
For some reason the ALLData website is out.
Thanks!

First check the plunger high on the brake pedal that hits the push button switch when pedal is depressed. It's made of plastic and known to break usually fragments on floormat when they break.

Yep...that was it! There is no reason for that design except to ensure a future service order. They could have just left out the hole that the plastic nipple fits in. Two pennies and some duct tape and we are back in business!
