atf
atf means automatic transmission fluid right? why do i see atf being recommended for manual tranny's sometimes (well usually). i never hear mtf. so is there mtf and when i do my transmission fluid drain/fill (not flush), what fluid should i ask for exactly at the honda dealer?

If ATF was recommended by someone to use in a manual transmission either someone was wrong or confused about what type of transmission the person has. Manual Transmission is MTF.
