Clutch? Tranny? I dunno...

Hey Guys.
Having some real issues over here. I'll give all the info I can think of.
I have a 2008 civic coupe 1.8L standard. Had the transmission replaced about a year and a half ago, and the clutch assembly replaced just over a year ago.
I have an intermittent issue where when I start my car in the morning...all is fine...mid day when it gets really hot out or after I have been driving for about an hour, it becomes very difficult or impossible to shift into gear. I turn it off...let it sit for a minute or less, and I can put it in gear and start the car. With the clutch in, in gear and brakes applied, it seems as though it is slightly engaged. Wants to move forward. When I go to take off, it starts chattering and I have to rev it high to get going. Brought it to a shop and they said to start with the master slave cylinder. So that got changed. Seemed fine yesterday, but again today, the exact same issues kept happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Clutch? Tranny? I dunno...

I had a problem with first gear in my 2008 Civic Si - it would make a funny noise while engaging and sometimes it wouldn't go into gear. Honda replaced a couple pieces including 1st gear as it was a known problem.
Not sure if it could be a similar issue? Have you contacted Honda?

There is no real noise while changing gears. Just won't go in when it's acting up
