Transmission question

We have an 08 Civic DX with 60,000 miles on it. Yesterday when leaving for work the car took longer than normal to shift between 1st and 2nd gear. Drove the car for about 30 minutes and this happened several more times during the trip, but not all the time. At some point a warning light came on up on the dash and D was also flashing. I checked the tranny fluid which was fine and stop and had a scan done for the warning light and the code P0843 showed up, which is for transmission pressure switch. Later in the day the light went out on it's own and the car was fine. The light returned this morning but the car seems fine right now.Looking for the location of the transmission pressure switch which I think is right under the air filter housing, but I'd like to make sure. Any info or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Transmission question

There is more than one pressure switch on that trans.
P0843 is for the 2nd clutch pressure switch.
Blue/yellow wire.

You're right about the location
Looks like you'd probably have to remove the air filter housing from the top of the trans to find the pressure switch. It's on top of the trans, almost right below the brake fluid reservoir.
