Rep Power: 0 How to adjust New bulbs
Hey everyone;
This is my first post; I've just bought my 2006 silver Honda civic LX sedan.
I’ve replaced my low beams with better bulbs from Sylvania. However I got the feeling that my headlights are too high. I don't really understand why, because I didn't touch anything during installation and the new bulbs have the same size, power etc.
In manual it says that I should take my car to the dealership and get them to do it.
Does anyone know how to adjust a headlight in my honda?
Thanks a lot for any help

Hi~ i am considering Silvania's near-HID bulb as well~ i found that driving on lamp-less highways at night the low-beam can't really cut it... needed to flip on the high beam from time to time to see what's ahead (i'm a polite/n00b driver so i tend not to run high beam too long :P)
aside from the alignment problem, how do you like the sylvania bulbs compared to the original halogen? Is it going to be more taxing on the circuitry / power consumption? (sorry..again i'm a n00b)
as for the alignment issue..i think going to the dealer is probably a good idea..if u really can't fix it...
thanx!

you shouldn't need to because you didn't change the adjustment.. they just "SEEM" higher because they're that much brighter.. they're fine i promise... and as faras harming the wiring, they wont as long as the wattage is the same because they take the same amount of power they're just brighter
