which would be ideal tires for summer 15" wheels.

cheap and very effective, that's what i'm looking for. i am considering picking up some regular Si wheels... greg sells them without rubber though. i am not talking extremely cheap, but performance does come first. something that handels well in summer heat, cool nights (not cold or snow), and heavy rain.

any sites with like ratings for the tires would be helpful too. thanks.

Try some Kumho's, everyone who has them that I know of has no complaints.

Do you meen in the rain or with out rain?

Go Falken Azenis sports. Can't be beaten for Dry traction. (I hear they are decent in the rain too.)
205/50R15's are around $65 a piece.

They are one of the top tires at the SOLO 2 nationals.

Hands down Falken Azenis in 205/50 since that's the only size. Anything comparable would cost upwards of $100 a piece. I've had both S03's and Azenis. And even though S03's edge Azenis out barely when it comes to dry and wet traction, I'd still pick Azenis since they are almost $30 a piece cheaper than the S03's.

Never ran the S03's. If I did I'd probably get the 225/50WR15 Wider is better, though I've heard that the Azenis 205 is more like most companys 215.

I've seen people shoehorn 225's on to a 15X6 inch rim. it fits better on a 6.5 or a 7" though. Each time I've ran the falkens I'm more impressed with them. Just an example of the traction, I don't drag race, but occatioally an autocross track does demand a drag like launch. On my street tires Falken 512's (Great for the street) I could not get them to launch at any higher then about 3200 RPM's with out spinning them. The Azenis, I launch at 4500 with hardly a chirp. And thats not really their strong point. they were made for turning. oh... Im getting all excited just thinking about it

By the way, Scaring friends is fun.
