Altezza Grill - Painted or Not?

I bought an Altezza grill a while back and had in black on my red civic. I just got some more parts which needed painting so I painted the grill too (red). Now the question is, should I paint the "mesh" part back to black or leave it red. Obviously I wanted to paint the bottom lip part of the grill red, that's why I had it painted in the first place.
So anyway, does anyone have pictures of the Altezza grill, preferably on a red Civic, whith the entire grill painted, and anyone else have it with just the bottom lip part of it painted?
I don't want to put mine back on the car and find it look like crap and then have to take it back off just to paint the mesh.
Actually7, if anyone has just a pic of the painted grill on the car I can make it black in photoshop, it's harder the other way arround.
Thanks.

Well, I don't have any pics to post, but I can get some up tonight, if you want (even though I know it won't help because my car is blue and I didn't install it yet... hehe). I just painted the lip part of it. If I were you, I would just paint the mesh part back to black. It will look a lot better IMO. Although I haven't seen an all red altezza grill, I have a pretty good idea of what it will look like on a red Civic.

Yeah, I think it will look better with the mesh part black... I've seen a red civic with it all painted red drive arround and it looked pretty crappy cuz you can see through the mesh so it doesn't seem red you know... anyway, thanks for posting that one above, gives me a good idea and saves me from looking arropund (I'm on dial up at work) lol

looks better with mesh black. i got mine painted for free but the guy accidently painted the mesh silver and it didn't look too good.. well imo that was. the in like less than 10 minutes the bodyshop guy painted the mesh black and looked even betta! haha..

so leave it black.

Where did you paint yours at, did you go to a shop or do it yourself? How much did it cost you?

I got mine painted at the dealerships' body shop so I know it's done right with the right paint code to perfectly match the car. Surprisingly, I only paid $25. And it turned out perrfect! Just the way I wanted it. I'm going to install it today and take some pics of it. You can check out 'My Ride' later on tonight. It should be up.

nice i wanna get one of those grills too, but i put the coupe one on my car and it makes it look much better than the stock sedan grill... altho im thinking i wanna do the jdm chrome trimmed grill, after i drop in a k20 then put 2.0L stickers on my car... not... altho im seriously thinking i want to do an el conversion from canada.. but that would be mad expensive... so for now... stock as possible
