Exhaust Choices
I am just now getting into tuning my car and i want to get a nice exhaust system. Something that'll give me hp gains adn something that sounds loud and intimidating! anyone with any ideas, PM me or reply on the board.

wtf, i didnt post twice, it did it on its own, Can a mod remove one?

exhaust
I have a Thermal R&D Exhaust fed by a AEM CAI and HP Headers and I like how it sounds and the gains I got from it. If you're going with jsut an exhaust be sure to go with a whole cat-back, since the muffler itself isnt all that gives you the sound .. its also your resnator and a full cat-back system will replace all that. With the 2k1 the Cat is in the header so for less restriction you could go with headers also, wich will improve sound. But as exhaust goes, my personal opinion is a thermal R&D Cat-back. I replaces a Tanabe racing medalion with it and I really like the thermal 100x better.

If you want it to remain legal, then either pick up a stock EX exhaust system and pull the cat out of it, or get an aftermarket high flow unit.
