Alarm question - ebrake wire, where???

Just wondering if anyone knows specifically which wire on the DEI Python 880XP remote start alarm I should use to connect to the e-brake or neutral wire for a 5-speed? Is it one of the wires on the manual remote start bypass/neutralizer toggle switch? Also, I know where the e-brake wire is, but is there a wire that senses when the shifter for a 5-speed is in neutral. Thanks in advance everyone...

no, there is no electronic sensor that tells the car if it is in gear or not. Thats part of the reason why you have to push in the clutch when you start the car. just connect it to your ebrake and make sure maximum crank time is at its lowest setting, so even if you do leave it in gear it'll only move so far. I thouroughly tested mine and my car only moves 1 foot in either direction if i leave it in gear and remote start it. I never parellel park either and i never leave my car in gear but i did use a toggle switch cuz my girlfriend has a nasty habit of leaving the car in gear. I also linked it to a push to start button btw, I have the DEI viper 790xv.

Thanks for the info. Since you have the Viper equivalent of my Python, which wire on the alarm did you run to the ebrake wire, so it won't remote start when the hand brake is not engaged? Do I run one of the wires from the toggle switch or from the alarm itself? I just need to know which wire it is, thanks in advance...
