is fiberglass bendable?

my sidesksirts dont fit correctly, they do not slide into place. i remember reading that i could just heat up the fiberglass and slowly bend it into shape? or should i just get the same paper and start sanding away at the part that does not fit?

nope, if you do you'll crack it. fiberglass is basically a sheet of woven strands of "glass" that is cured with a resin/epoxy. once it dryes/cures it is a solid form. you can try to sand it down, but if you go through the top coat glaze then you will have to re-glaze that part.

It has been my experiance that NO aftermaket Fiberglass body part has ever fit properly. I tell people to avoid them and get a Urethane kkit, it will fit better.
