Angry HELP!! Exhaust burning bumper

I need help. The exhaust is burning the bumper. On the very bottom you can see the paint is turning brown and its got air bubble in the paint. I didnt notice till I put my car on the hoist at school and saw my bumper like that. What should I do?

have a shop bend the hangers, so the exhaust sits lower.. you can also try to do it yourself if you know how

I have seen some cars with chrome pieces right above where the exhaust is on the bumper, mostly wrx's but I have seen other cars. I asked one guy why he had this. He said it was to stop the bumper from burning or getting a black coating on the bumper. It wipes right off of this metal peice and looks pretty sweet.

not really, it depends on the exhaust. IMO i like exhausts that are snug against the car, but not too close where it burns the bumper. a low exhaust, like my HKS, tends to shake a lot (which is very annoying) and it has a greater risk of scraping

iluvbritney is an unknown quantity at this point
dropping the exhaust is wat majority would do, but also u might have to worry about speed bumps or potholes, if u got some bumpy roads u might wanna think about it before u drop it
