Weird Shaking

I was cruising, it was raining. some of the roads were pretty wet. i stopped at a light, and then started to go when it turned green, and my car was making this WEIRD shaking noise which seemed from the passenger seat (under it).

so i stop at a gas station, check it out, nothing....

then i start driving home, and i went over a little puddle, and the same shake..

what do you guys think it can be!?

i just put on a HP Header, maybe i put it on bad.. ya think?

Hey,
I got same freaking sound coming what I would think from right side , way low, somewhere from the dashboard area. It happens when it rains alot, or snows. I changed my header too. I freaking looked everywhere, and my only assumption is that stainless steel(my header) is a lot hotter and those water drops gets on that metal and that sound comes out. Might be wrong, but hell, I think there should be more people hearing that noise...

Alright I have the same problem...I have a Tanabe Exhaust also. When the roads are wet sometimes there is a horrible rattling coming from the passenger side floor. It is from an OEM piece that holds the stock exhaust in place. Now when you change to an aftermarket exhaust it doesn' t align perfectly. So what happens is your pipe begine to vibrate more(due to lots of water and or slush hitting it)and it hits the OEM piece. Now metal on metal sounds very bad and thatss how you get that horrible noise. TO fix this problem wrap the part of your exhaust with some thermal wrapping(exhaust wrapping) so it hits the wrapping instead of metal on metal. Problem solved! Hope this helped everyone!
