How easy is RSX seat swap?

I just found a place that's got parts of an RSX-S around town here. Anyway, I was interested in the seats (engine/tranny too but no $$$) and I'm wondering how easy is it to swap the seats?

Will I be able to use the same rails? I saw someone here used the RSX rails but he had to drill a hole somewhere. But I also read it was just a bolt-on.

What about the rear seats? Are they interchangeable? On Hondawerx it mentioned something about a full leather interior swap. And it sounds like LiLaSiiAn8 knows something of it too. I just couldn't find what mods were done to the rear seats to get them to fit.

What we need is a DIY for it.

The rear seats require the most modification. I got to see Greg's(Hondawerx) seats in Atlanta earlier this year. The backs of the rear seats have to be modified by removing some of the stuffing inside so that it can fit the narrower Civic. And a new frame has to be made for the bottom to be bolted into.

I'm not sure about how the front seats bolt in. Talk to HAWK, he has the RSX seats in his car also.

fronts are almost plug and play, the holes in the front of the sliders have to be made longer to reach the existing holes of the civic from what i hear

The front seats look awesome and if i can ever find some i will probably get them...

the back seat is a different story. the front look like they were made to go in there but the back look funny. you can tell they didnt come stock. They just dont look very good in back, plus i believe you cant fold down anymore.

im planning on front rsx seats (black leather) and then just wrapping the back seat in black leather to match,

I JUST finished swaping front RSX seats into my 03 civic coupe. It works, but requires a bit of muscle, a hammer, a dremmel or drill and a crecent wrench.

The front tabs have to be bent out a bit (use a crecent wrench), and the holes on the back tabs have to be enlongated about 1/4" to the rear.

The carpet under the tabs should be cut out a bit more than it is already.

Tighten the rear bolts about half way, then get a big heavy guy to bounce on the seats, this pushes the front down enough put the outside bolt in, then you need to use the claw of the hammer as a lever to move the front inside rail in abit from the center console, so the bolt lines up.
