well the first thing you doing is saving weight cause the stock cam gear is very heavy, but you wont notice a gain if you just install it and and dont adjust it but you can just put it on at like 3-5 degrees advanced, you should feel a difference but to get the full potential from it and your others mods you need to dyno it. a friend of mine had a case where he had i/h/e and a vafc he then they put on a cam gear and dynoed it and he gained like 40hp in certain areas of the powerband and it just smoothes the powerband out. so it really makes a big difference it helps all your mods to work together all through the powerband, but i already ordered mine so im gonna install and it and then dyno and see how it feels so i will let you guys know how it goes.

and umm... not to attack ya on this one but i gotta... u are claiming ur friend "supposedly" gained somewhere around 40HP??? this obviously was not a 7thgen... and to be quite honest i've never heard of even a 900HP supra gaining 40HP for their dual adjustables... and those are much more productive... lemme know thanks

you guys are ridiculous i dont believe it first of all i never said that he gained 40hp from a cam gear thats imposibble if you read i said dyno tune and vafc ! but anyway secondly i aint trying to scam people my friend at a performance store here where i live in south florida sold me the cam gear at the price the shop buys it for so because of this i thought i would be nice and share the deal with you guys but i dont care if noone gets any because ive already got mine and im not making anything of of this and its your lost and not mine

Ok buddy you wouldn't gain 40HP from a cam gear, VAFC, I/H/and Exhaust all together! so I dont know what you were smokin or what kind of dyno you were on, but that's just rediculous. But hey, nice of you too offer the gear at a good price.

i never said that he gained this from a cam gear i never explain it properly , our ex's come stock with 110whp he dynoed youm know how on a dyno the line isnt straight power goes up and down ok so in some cases where he lost alot of hp like before vtec he gained up to 40 hp by tuning and making the powercurve smoother for more power right through the powerband.

p.s all he had was cold air intake, header, high flow cat, greddy exhaust and iridium plugs with a vafc and cam gear
