Axle nut problem (HELP!!!)
Hey fellas. I broke a few wheels studs because of overtorqueing them along time ago and currently trying to fix it. I've taken almost everything off except one last thing. I need to take off the axle nut, but that thing is on hella tight. I have the rotors and caliper off. I just need to move the hub out a little so I can push the studs out. I just want to know whether the axle nut is reverse thread or not??? Also will I have anymore complications such as taking off the stud or putting it back on? How about the hub bearings...will they fall out if I pull out the hub too far???? Hope someone can help me out...I have the car on jack stands right now...

I gave up....I got the axle nut off and couldn't take off the hub. When I gave the hub a few wacks with the hammer, it appeared that the axle started to separate from the boot, which I think woulda gave me a lot more trouble. So I barely was able to drive my crippled car to pep boys, the closest shop and paid a damn 72 bucks...unbelievable.
