trading in my car..questions
I'm looking into trading in my car (01 ex sedan) for an 02 ex 5speed sedan or coupe (probably sedan cause i don't want to waste the $ i put into my taillights and grill and stuff). I have about 33k miles on my car but what i'm wondering is, I did a lot of interior modifications including a crapload of painting and some other stuff that might depreciate the value. Will these mods inside hurt the car's value that much? I have a few scratches and dings and stuff on the outside (installed fog lights myself too) and I know that'll drop the value too. Does anyone have a good estimate on how much I should get for my car and how much balance you think it'll be if I do indeed trade in?
EDIT: Tint too on the back windows 5% on the back 3

Since you've done the interior "damage" to the car by painting it you will probably get more money from the dealer than you would from a outside buyer. Most dealers just go by the NADA book and milage, but you'll probably lose a little since the interior is modified.
