Thumbs up GETTING NEW BRAKES **FREE**

thats right...my wife has a 2002 lx sedan that has been grinding a little...i talked with the service manager and told him that with only 16,832mi. on her car, and plenty of 'meat' left on the pads that there is no way that the front pads should be grinding into the rotor...

he agreed and said that they will fix it under warranty for pads/resurface rotors...cool huh??

anyone else have this happening to their ride??

gelshmoff is an unknown quantity at this point
Hmm, interesting.

I have a 02 lx sedan also. I haven't noticed grinding except when I haven't driven my car for a day or so and I put the brakes on for the first time. But I thought this happens in all cars --the brakes getting lubed up :-P

Any other 02lx sedans out there?

i guess this has been happening to her since like 10,500mi.

the service manager said that there is too much 'metal' in some of the pads that were put on 2002's...honda is aware of this and will fix as a warranty issue...
