Yo, so I was freakin' cuz' of the popping and creaking noise my springs made when I turn the wheel. (Some of you may recall.) Well, then I found the solution here and wanted to stress how well it works to those of you with the same COMMON problem. Don't bother tryin' to find SPRING ISOLATORS at your local auto parts store. They don't have 'em. (just those spring raisers or whatever.) GO TO RADIO SHACK AND BUY A SPIRAL CABLE WRAP FOR 3 BUCKS! Cut 2 pieces about 3" long and jack up your car. Slide those babies around the DEAD COILS on both FRONT springs and biggittty bam.....NO MORE NOISE WHEN YOU TURN!!! Ha ha, if you have the kinda luck that I do (even being an Irishmen), then usually some minor little problem like this hits RED on the threat level real quick, but this was beautiful and I have you smart ***** on this forum to thank. Peace!
Cool
I guess I better get to Radio Shack and get this done... I am glad you had success with the search. Did you have to take your wheel off to get to the springs or could you reach it? I am lazy...

Hey man. No wheel removal involved. You should be able to reach the srpings no problem and get some decent space in between the deal coils if you jack it up enough. then just slide that bad boy around 'em and you're golden. good luck.

I did my springs today. I couldn't wait to get to Radio Shack to buy the Spiral Coil Wrap. Its the best $3 I have spent in a while! I wrapped the springs and then... I drove it around... no pop and click. I love it... I am much happier with my springs now.
Yay!!! woo hoo!!!
Sorry, I am kinda happy.

eh i dunno, my systems always thumping so i cant hear it. i'll check tonight tho, i think it still does. i didnt even know it was clickin/popping till i sold my system last time. but ya i always wanted to get rid of it cause i'm sure the car next to me could hear it and its kinda embarrassing..

Well, I'm glad everyone's feeling a little better about all this. i know I am. Was 2nd guessin' the move to drop, but F that, it's kool. Yeah, Neuspeed should include some kinda wrap like the Eibachs but I guess a little extra elbow grease and a WHOPPING 3 bucks won't set anyone back too much. Glad I could help Deejai. Gave me an excuse to enjoi this beautiful Columbus weather we're havin.
sorry for any inconvenience VNlilman.
