I rub!!!

I just got my Neuspeed Sports and SPC rear camber kit installed yesterday. I have Velox VX-8 rims (17x7.5) and Toyo 215/45/17 tires. The drop looks great... its not too low, but it is nowhere near stock! But as many of you probably experience... on hard or sharp turns, there is some rubbing. Its not too bad, but it does exist.

I just wanted to post, because I often searched this topic and I see people ask the same question over and over again. I didn't come across anyone with this exact wheel/tire/spring setup, so it may help someone.

And finally, yes the Neuspeeds are noisy. They are still settling though, so we'll see. Later I will put in coil seperators to see if it helps.

Is the OEM spec on camber negative or positive? When I got an alignment yesterday, they said the front was off. I don't remember exactly how much, but it was the opposite of the manufacturer spec. Neg to pos... or vice versa.

OEM spec should be slightly negative if not zero. But I am not quite sure on that.

Do you experience the clicking or popping sound with your Neuspeed Race? I only rub on sharp turns too, but you have 15s, so I see your point...

I was curious today, so I took a right turn really hard to see what would happen. The result, the fender lip (rear) practically sliced into the tread of my tires, not deep though.

So I tried to roll my fender lips today. I used the bat and rag method. But I don't have a full sized bat, and I didn't want to jack my car up in the air. So the mini bat worked fine for this job.

Now the fender lip doesn't cut into the tires, but it still rubs... its okay I am getting used to it.

I agree with eXNBP... I just crank the factory stereo up more...
