8000 to 10000, and personally I think it is silly. I rather put that money down and buy Acura RSX-S...No offence, this is my personal opinion...

$8000 to $10000!!!!!

Where did you see those prices???

Brand new K20A1 (thats JDM Type-R) w/ 6-speed, ECU, and shift linkage is $5600, i'll try to find the website that was selling them.

Hasport makes the mounts which don't cost much.

The only way i can see the cost getting up towards $8000 is if you pay some shop to do it and they really overcharge you.

u can get it at jdmhondaparts.com. u r going to need the rsx subframe and probably the drive axles. just the motor mounts from hasports, the engine, tranny, and ecu won't be enough.

azure is on a distinguished road
Then you add the labor costs for the swap. I heard labor costs as high as $2000. I believe Chrissy got that $2000 labor quote, if i'm not mistaken.

Good luck on the swap though. I think that's a pretty good idea about starting that club. I wish I was part of it.

K20A, no such thing as an A1. JDM motors have no number prefix after the engine code.

Parts Needed
- K20A2 or K20A3 (from Civic Si) Engine With:
- AC compressor
- alternator
- P/S pump or idler pulley (from Civic Si)
- wiring harness
- exhaust manifold and catalytic converter

- ECU
- Transmission and starter
- intermediate shaft
- Axles from either 02 Civic Si or 94 up Integra GSR (we used 02 RSX with RSX knuckles and hubs)
- RSX or 02 Civic Si subframe
- Hasport ESK1 bolt in mount kit (as of this time the kit will not work with the K24)
- Hasport ESKWH conversion wiring harness
- RSX shifter assembly and cables
- 02 Civic Si radiator and fans (although the RSX will fit with some trimming around the radiator cap opening in the grill)
- 02 Civic Si upper and lower radiator hoses (RSX are longer and may kink)
- RSX throttle cable
- RSX fuel line, brake booster line and purge line
- RSX AC line from compressor to condensor
- RSX clutch lines from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder
- Custom AC line from compressor to evaporator (Hasport should have one available by April)
- 90 Accord negative battery cable

- If you want powersteering:
- RSX high pressure powersteering hose and return line
- 92 Civic P/S resevoir w/ bracket and a section of hydraulic hose to go from the pump to the resevoir

do your research
