I've finally made up my mind on what exhaust I want!--OBX B3 cat back....need help
Alright, finally I have made up my mind on what exhaust I want to go with. I'm so tired of looking around for exhausts that I'm looking forward to slapping on this OBX B3 cat back.
Anyone know of the cheapest place to go to for this cat back? Also a sound clip of this exhaust would be appreciated if someone has one.

I heard the OBX is loud...I really wouldn't expect much from them
Not exactly a great brand name to go with...
I've heard nothing but good from people who own the Tanabe...That's what I'm gonna get.

Alright I'm back on to clear up things. Come on people....your going to have to start learning to trust people. You think someone is just going to say out of the blue...."Hey I think Im gonna go buy an OBX exhaust".........no....all I did this whole week was read reviews after reviews from different civic websites over an exhaust worth its money.
As we know....you get hardly any gains from an exhaust so do you think Im going to be foolish.....yes foolish people to spend $500 on an exhaust just for its name? Lets get in the real world......Tanabe or OBX is the same quality....same damn loud sound. I certainly can afford a Tanabe but I prefer to spend my money on something worth while. I hope I wasnt being negative because I never intended to be but its time to expect people to have common sense.

Tanabe OWNZ. Its the best exhaust for our cars. Provides the best gain in HP and torque, dynoed tested. I love this thing and its not too badly priced. But you do get what you pay for. "And you know this..man"

Whatever floats your boat...
common sense?
You're comparing the "ricer's haven muffler" to some of the best performance companies around. GReddy is a top name in most applications, in case you didnt know. And every single person Ive ever talked to has raved about their Tanabe. If you want to go with the cheaper solution, go right ahead.
Sounds like you're shrowded in some ignorant filth, where are you reading this stuff at?

OBX blows, i know a guy who gets nothing but OBX parts for his civic and its slow as ****. you cant even hear his damn headers. ive got a magnaflow, but if i had had the cash at the time i would have got the tanabe. but i like how mine sounds considering that most of the douche bag ricers in my town have nothing but loud and annoying exhausts, yet mine sounds very original and unique, especially at high RPMs. do whatever you like though.
I have an OBX B3 bomb cat-back exhaust and it sounds great. Those of you that put down OBX, their exhaust systems are good, so don't just go on what you hear and read. Those of you who are putting down OBX, you should hear all the compliments that I get when people hear my cat-back system. Most of the stuff you read about obx are peoples own personal opinions. You have to hear it and see it for yourself to really understand. It is very deep and loud, not all high pitched and ricey. It come with a silencer that actually silences. The only thing that needs to be adjusted are the brackets on the muffler itself. That little inconvenience is alot better to solve instead of spending more than $500 for a more popular system. The exhaust will go on with the brackets as the are, but the muffler will hit the bottom of your bumper and will damage it over time. The guy at meineke just extened the brackets by bending them up a little. If you have anymore questions then feel free to PM me. Don't listen to all those people that are pressuring you to go with a more expensive brand. Like me, you want a cheaper exhaust that will give you a nice sound and around the same performance, which can all be found in this cat-back system. Im only 18 so I don't have alot of money, which is the reason I went for the cheaper deal. And hey, it was worth every penny. GO FOR IT!

for a minute i thought i was the only one that owned one on here
i have a OBX HKS dragger style( type H)
i get compliments on it and love it.
i began to sound better and better after i put my header and Hi flow cat on. i really wish i could post video clips and sound clips so others could hear.
if you wanna spend 500 on a exhaust, 300 on a header and 200 on a intake ...go ahead.. you'll get all of 5- 10 hp gain if even that
where you could spend closer to half, 250 for a cat back and 250 for a header and hi flow cat, of that with 500 to spend on springs, bars or whatever else.
you'll get the same looks and, if any, somewhere between 0.2- 1.5 in HP difference
now if you have a turbo or are planing too in the newar future..go for it
because chances are if you can send 2- 3,000 grand on a turbo you can afford a 500 dola exhaust

my OBX short shifter is okay.. its quality could be better but it works fine. heh. instead of $100 for a Revo, I spend $58 with the OBX. same short stick, and short throw. *shrug*

See? There you go. Thats the kind of answers I like to read. These people who said good things about this OBX exhaust are some of the people who I read comments from them from other past forums about this exhaust. I'm going to go for it.

aluminum wings, graphics, NOS, underbody neons, Led washers,etc.). It doesn't matter
what anyone else thinks, it is what you like PERIOD.
$229 plus shipping? Why not go with a Magnaflow for $300 shipped from the group buy? Thats what I would do.
Take a look at the HKS axle-back too. www.optauto.com had it for $235 right now.
