POP Off Valve

I was looking at the Turbodiscounters site and was looking at the various parts, whats a pop off valve, i know what a blow off valve is.

hmmm... it's gotta be some kind of pressure release... In steam systems there usually a pop valve to release pressure if it gets dangerously high... but I've never heard of one in a turbo system. It must do the same thing... like a safety check to keep you from overboosting the engine.

pop off valves are usually refered to in nitrous systems for the bottle. Once it reaches a certain PSi the cap will pop preventing the bottle from exploding from too much pressure. Again never heard it for a turbo system, maybe a link would help.
