Id only go 225 if i had 19's. You MOST LIKELY will rub with 225/40/18. Its a real small differnce with 215 and 225, like 2mm or something like that

225/40/18 is most recommended. Eventhough I heard it will rub in our civics, it gives you a lil better ride than a 215/35/18 due to the bigger sidewall to take the road impacts instead of your wheel and suspension with a 35 series. Any wrong bump on a 35 series and you might damge the tire by pinching the sidewall or you might even ruin your wheel. Yuo can still put it on but you have to be super careful of how you drive.

i also will go with 215- 40- 18 im running 205 on mine but not with a 7.5, just 7
