Weird swap thought for today...

I was sitting here, reading a Road & Track article about the RX-8, and I was wondering if anyone has ever swapped a rotary engine into a Civic, CRX, Del sol, or Accord. Anyone know?

Not that I know of? Who knows? I wonder if it's possible? Maybe an RX7-8 fan or rotary fan could chime in on this.

uhm unless you gut the whole car... like a drag car does and just use a honda body shell .. its really not possible... Rear wheel drive and engine bay size is a major factor. Its just not worth the work.... Your better off buyin an RX-7 and putting Honda Body parts all over it

I know it'd be a ton of work, and probably not worth it in most people's minds. But then again, that Civic that beat the Viper in that vid was a waste of money, too. I was just wondering if anyone has ever done it. And since I haven't been into cars too long, I didn't know if maybe one was popular before I got into all of this.
