What is a tranny bracket for an intake

i just bought an intake and i have a 5 speed lx, I get everything in the picture, is one pictured?

Not all intakes need a bracket. AEM comes with a bracket.

AEM and even then I think it's only on the 5 speed LX with the cold air intake, correct me if I'm wrong.

My 5 speed EX AEM came with a bracket.......besides, the pic looks like an SRI.

It is an SRI, but where does the bracket go and what does it do? what is it ?

Are you talking about that metal bracket coming off the intake in the pic? When you remove the existing intake(all that black plastic shiznt!!!) you will put on the new intake and see that it bolts right into a spot on the engine.

Its easy.

Yep, you don't need a trans bracket for SRI. The bracket you have is just a support that bolts up to one of the threaded holes left when you remove the stock intake resonator. Easy to see where it goes when you get the old intake off.

yep, that metal thingy sticking out of the pipe basically gets mounted on the stock mounting point where the stock airbox used to be mounted... you can use the stock screws to screw in that intake you might want to put a thick rubber washer in between to cut down on rattling
