Tire-N-Parts guys

I wanted to order 17's for my coupe and the guys at tirenparts.com said that they dont recommend 215/45/17 cause they say they rub. My car isnt lowered and most people have wheels bigger than that so i was pissed. I live in an area with alot of pot holes so thats why i want the thicker tire. Oh yeah and he said that 205/50/16 are too wide also. Im really pissed!

Cool

if your car s not lowered you should be able to run the 215/45s
if you plan on lowering i run a 205/45 or 205 /40
thats just me though.

Uhh, I have 215x40x17's my car is no where near rubbing, check out the picture of my car. I am going to lower it as well with Neuspeed Racing Springs (2.25" Front/2.0" Rear). Still then it won't rub. I think the guy that told you that was smoking crack...

He doesn't know what he's talking about. I have 215/40/17 and I have no rubbing.
