Honda has no record of my CD Player Serial #, Part #, or Reference # !!!!!

I spent all day talking to Honda of America and giving them all kinds of information to end up at a dead end. Honda spent several hours searching their database for my serial #. They contacted the original dealership. They had me looking all over the car. No luck with any of that. As far as honda knows, my deck doesnt exist. AND to top it off, honda said they wont f***ing replace my DECK!!!!!!! Anybody got any idea as to what I can do, aside from pulling another deck from a junk yard?? Any help would be much appreciated by this extremely frustrated owner.

What a bunch of nonsense by honda... I'd guess that the dealership would get the code by pulling your deck, but im sure you've tried that already.

Yet another at Honda Service. Maybe it is time to upgrade to that precious mp3 player you've always wanted... heh

only the dealership that you bought the car from will get the radio code for you. they are able to look it up with your VIN number. don't let them tell you otherwise. if they say that they can't, demand a new radio.
don't give up...you will get what you want if you push them a little. if all else fails, ask for the service manager or the general manager.

yea, thats BS. When I had to get the serial # for my OEM radio, I just called them, gave them my name and address and they gave my my number, worked fine.
