H&R Cup Kit?

Ok, I know the following... They are coming soon or already out (stores are listing them, but that's not always the way to tell, H&R has a press release that says its coming, but its a few months old). Drop is 2" in the front, 1.7 in the rear and its roughly $700 for the springs and matched dampers.
I also know that H&R has a reputation for making good stuff when it comes to suspension parts. Having the dampers matched to the spring rate is a very good thing.

Now, bear with me because I'm a suspension noob:
The dampers are the same thing as the Konis right? So you have to disassemble the stock struts and swap them or something right?
Any reason why the drop is uneven?
In the opinion of the mechanically proficient... is it an easy but long DIY or is it really difficult? Do lots of parts fall out when you go to do this or is it just long because of lining everything up and taking things apart. I can dissassemble and re-assemble things with instructions as long as it doesn't get to the point where there's stuff falling off everwhere, but it it's relatively straight forward and a few pieces at a time, I don't see why I can't pull it off if I set aside a day to do it.

VNlilMAN will become famous soon enoughVNlilMAN will become famous soon enough
this has been discussed before..
-the cup kit is not out yet, i was told it should be out by the end of april. someone else called n they said it should be out by the end of summer..
-on the website it says the civic's cup kit will come with an adjustable damper as well as adjustable height. i think the adjustable height is going to be like the rear koni's and not yout typikal coilover..
-its hard to say what the installation process is going to be for a product thats not out yet.. it's still going to be fairly cheap so i'm thinking you do have to cut the front struts.. not 100% sure tho. i'm almost positive your going to need the top perch/mount from the stock suspension tho.
