Need ECU chip info
If you don't want to go through all of the reprograming stuff you can buy a Venom chip that takes about 30 minutes to hook up and gives you a big Horsepower gain (especially if you have other engine mods). I'm not 100% sure but I think its close to the same amount of HP gain as the Jet chip They are kind of expensive but theres only 4 wires that you have to hook up, positive and negative on the battery, one wire on the MAP sensor, and one on the TPS Sensor, making it pretty easy and quick. I've done a ton of research to find the best price and heres the site that has the cheapest price for it, theres also more information on what it does on it also... http://store.yahoo.com/dpstore/ven400percon1.html?source=overture

did anyone get venom 400 before cuz i neverheard of it. i would get it but first i need other peoples advise on it. also adding wires to the battery, wont that make ur are drain more battery?? venom 400, chip upgrade, jet v-force which one is better or whats the differnece in all 3??
I have had mine hooked up directly to my battery for about 6 month's now and it hasnt done a thing to my batter because it only kicks in when you have your foot on the gas 1/3 to 1/2 of the way down, therefore it dosent use much if any power when your car is off, I like it because whenever i go into Honda to have work done on it Its easy to take out so it won't void my warenty, but if you have the JET chip soddered onto your ECU im willing to bet that the Dealer will say that it voided your warenty because you cant take it out everytime you take it in for service, and then you would be screwed.
The Venom400 chip is about $270 at http://store.yahoo.com/dpstore/ven400percon1.html?source=overture and im not exactly sure what the differnces are between the venom and the jet chip, I would assume that they both do about the same. The venom chip just monitors 2 sensors under the hood and changes there output to give the car more power. It says that it can give up to 25% more horsepower and I think that depends alot on what else you have under your hood, I just have the chip and a cold air intake and its a very noticable differnce from stock.
