Blowing Steam on "Bouncy"

Why is it that the only description I ever hear about the characteristics of a shock or spring is: BOUNCY or NOT BOUNCY!!
WTF is this bouncy?!
Could someone please think of something other then the word "BOUNCY" which means absolutely nothing to anyone but the person writing it.
CONSIDER THIS WHEN DESCRIBING A SHOCK OR STUTS PERFORMANCE:
Either the car rides firmer then stock, the same as stock, or softer.
Either it goes thru the bumps with more composure or less.
Either you feel more bumps or less.
Either you hear more road noise or you don't.
Try to compare the ride to stock, cause most of us know what stock is.
If it is bouncy:
Is it bouncy when you are off-roading?!
Or does it just a continuous pogo-stick ride on any surface?
Anywayz, I'm just blowing steam..no biggie..but if you have Tein SS and care to describe the ride characteristics, I'd love to hear about it so I don't have a $1200 disappointment.

In my opinion the ride is either gonna be smooth, bumpy or bouncy. A bumpy spring is a spring thats STIFF, therefor you will FEEL THE ROAD alot more. Bouncy, is just riding on a plain old blown strut or shock or coilover set .
If you have ever ridin in a 78 Caddy Coupe Deville, that would be equivalent to riding on blown shocks or struts.
Feels like a dam boat with the suspension boucing up and down

Tein SS or Flex. Cars that are lowered with sleeves coils and do not get stiffer dampers have that prolonged bounce. When you get the Teins, they are the powerful bumps you feel only once. They only time it gets rough is on long stretches of highway where the little bumps are continous. Its the difference between a tap and tapping(pogo stick). With the Teins, it is a tap, you will hear the road more(depends greatly on the tires), and you will feel the G's on the turns more. As for stock, I now Honda has tried three different settings on the suspension in the three years this gen has been out. Each year handles differently and 2k1s are more sportier and 2k3s are more softer and luxurious. Honda wants you to feel the difference(a major one) between the FP suspension and stock. Market ploy? No, just intelligence and experience.
