NEED HELP FAST!!!
alright, i have DIY'ed relocating the spare, and have all of my pieces cut to replace the trunk floor.... but my problem is that the piece i cut (exact size as carpet, 3/4 inch MDF) will not go into trunk, is there any certain way to maneuver it in there? i know some of you who have done the DIY replace trunk floor with the sub enclosure have done this, but was wondering if you had to make the piece a little smaller than the carpet that you used as a tracing template. Please help on this, i am ready to install, but can't figure out how to actually do it...
so since i have to cut it, which way do i go with the cut? sown the center vertiaclly or down the center horizontally, or could i trim around the edges some and make it a little smaller than the carpet? the problem i am getting is when i get to the part that's behind the wheel wells to the back of the trunk, i only need about an inch and a half or so of clearance... if that much
nevermind, i got it without having to cut it or trim it any, thanks though... all i had to do was remove all of the carpet....i will post some pics of the new trunk once i get it all done and everything, i was dryfitting the piece to make sure it set right and all, i am about to paint it and everything, then install it so as soon as i locate a digicam, i will post pics...
